Glad to see you back. I missed you. And I felt much the same way. I felt cringey trying to promote my book while we're in such a mess here in the states. Now, I write to keep sane.

Thank you so much Nikesh for this piece, puts into words pretty much what last year was like for me and how I'm intending to pivot this year (hah, "fix in 26"). Even though my own writing has lapsed for all your well-articulated reasons, I maintain hope and belief in the power of words with a point and from others who make it well. It's always life-affirming and purpose-renewing to know we're not so alone in our struggles and efforts through them. Glad you've you've got your mojo back. Your piece/work alluded to also makes me miss Bristol, which I left a few years ago for the rurals - a Flagshagging corner of Devon, as it revealed itself to be. Alas, onwards.

Although I am not a writer, this is so inspiring and hopeful. I feel like it relates to all life, living, and community, getting up and doing something is inspiring in every way, but I am especially glad that it is inspiring you to write. Your writing has been world changing, it will continue to be x
