On finding people to read your work for you and how to give them a steer.
Last week we began a journey to working out how to know when a piece of writing is done. We spoke about giving yourself distance from your manuscript before doing any edits, and keep doing that until there is absolutely nothing more that you can see you need to do. This week we’ll talk about what to do if you’ve read it through and can’t really tell if anything needs to be done.
I caveat what I’m about to say with this: I know some of these options may not be available to everyone for a variety of factors.
